Job Description
THE ROLE
1. Providing detailed credit analysis of the complex commercial applications.
2. Conduct robust credit calls with Business Loan Applicants to ensure that key risks are mitigated and material assumptions are verified.
3. Make recommendations to Deal Review Committee supported by the credit analysis and credit call that meet policy and quality requirements.
4. Assist Credit Managers with the review of the assessments conducted by junior members of the team ensuring that the minimum required quality is met.
5. Provide timely feedback to junior credit analysts to assist with upskilling and improvement of the credit team.
6. Building and maintaining effective relationships with the members of the sales team.
7. Assist credit managers in upskilling sales team by delivering constructive feedback on the quality of the credit submissions and data collection.
Qualifications
THIS PERSON IS SOMEONE WITH…
1. Commercial credit experience in decisioning deals up to $5 million.
2. Prior experience holding significant delegation - this is a must!
3. Experience in coaching and mentoring junior credit analysts.
4. Demonstrated initiative, drive and enthusiasm.
5. Excellent organisational and time management skills.
6. High attention to detail.
7. Strong ability to build relationships and act as a true team player.
