Join Clare Hospital as an Associate Nurse Unit Manager, where you'll support the Nurse/Midwife Unit Manager in the operational and clinical leadership of the inpatient unit and ED, promoting safe, high-quality, person-centred care.
About the Role
* Provide proficient clinical nursing/midwifery care while supporting day-to-day unit leadership
* Assist the Nurse/Midwife Unit Manager with staffing, rostering, leave management, and workforce planning
* Support and guide nursing and midwifery staff, students, and less experienced practitioners
* Promote evidence-based practice, quality improvement, and safe patient outcomes
* Contribute to service coordination, patient flow, and multidisciplinary collaboration
Who Are We Looking For?
* Is registered or eligible for registration with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia
* Has a minimum of three years post-registration experience or is currently classified as a Clinical Nurse/Midwife
* Demonstrates leadership capability and the ability to support and develop others
* Possesses strong communication, organisational, and problem-solving skills
* Is committed to culturally safe, person-centred care and rural health service delivery
