About the role
Join our team in this rewarding Nurse Team Leader role, where you will provide quality care to a diverse mix of patients through:
* Assisting the medical practitioner in delivering medical services: patient triage, acute illness, health assessments /injury management, rehabilitation and chronic disease management
* Supporting the Practice Manager through coordinating and monitoring the day to day operation of the Treatment Room
* Providing support and guidance to the Nursing team on clinical issues and ensuring standards are maintained
* Identifying & contributing to the development of patient educational needs
* Implementing and practising infection control
Skills & experience
* Current AHPRA registration - Registered Nurse (Division 1)
* Previous general practice experience (essential)
* Previous experience in a supervisory role
* Minimum 3 year post graduate experience
* Demonstrated leadership skills and excellent communication skills
* Proven multi-tasking, problem solving and time management skills
* Experience with Best Practice software
