Role Purpose
Our ATSILS Mackay Office is seeking an experienced Criminal Law Legal Practitioner who is passionate about social justice. This is a 6‐month Parental Leave Cover position.
About You
* Admitted as a Legal Practitioner in Queensland and hold (or be eligible for immediate acquisition of) a current Practising Certificate.
* Holder (or eligible for immediate application) of a current Queensland Government Blue Card prior to commencing work.
* High level of professional service in all aspects of Criminal Law, covering both adult and youth jurisdictions.
* Current driver licence and willingness to drive for work.
* At least two years of full‐time post‐admission experience, resilience to handle complex cases, and ability to develop culturally sensitive service skills.
