**About Brisbane 2032**
The Brisbane 2032 Olympic and Paralympic Games (the "Games") will be the largest event in South-East Queensland's history, with the potential to deliver transformational change to our region. As the name suggests, the Brisbane Organising Committee for the 2032 Olympic and Paralympic Games ("Brisbane 2032") is responsible for organising the Games. Some of Brisbane 2032's operational responsibilities include: raising revenue through sponsorship, philanthropy, ticketing and Brisbane 2032 merchandise, sourcing the goods and services required to deliver the Games, managing the temporary overlay and operation of the venues, security, recruiting the Brisbane 2032 volunteers and the other elements that bring together the Games itself. Brisbane 2032 will coordinate and track the progress of all Games Delivery Partners and contributors to ensure the delivery of one of the most important events on record for Queensland and Australia.
You have the opportunity to be part of the foundational Brisbane 2032 team, supporting the delivery of this transformational once-in-a-lifetime opportunity for Brisbane, Queensland and Australia as a whole.
**About the Position**
The Business Partner - People and Culture reports directly to the General Counsel and will work closely with the entire Executive team during the 'build' phase for Brisbane 2032.
Considering Brisbane 2032 has a current head count of 7 employees, a key objective of this role is to deliver end-to-end recruitment services to help build the foundational team for Brisbane 2032. This role will also be required to provide generalist human resource and people management advice and support to the Executive team as this organisation grows and evolves.
Your key responsibilities include providing a first-class end-to-end recruitment service encompassing but not limited to:
- Drafting and writing of position descriptions along with uploading all online advertisements
- Supporting the Brisbane 2032 Executive team in providing panel interview assessment formats and attending to panel interview support (if required)
- Attending to all probity checks and offer-stage negotiations
- Development and implementation of new employee onboarding programs for all new employees
This role is a stand-alone, autonomous Human Resources position, and as such, there will also be a requirement to provide generalist human resources support as well as human resource related administrative support to the General Counsel.
**About You**
Brisbane 2032 is presently a small, 'fast-paced' organisation which will constantly evolve as it transitions through the 'build' phase. You must be a strong team player with the ability to multi-task and deliver against tight deadlines.
Proven capability in delivering a high-volume, quality recruitment service is essential, as is significant experience in broad, corporate human resources positions with multi-facetted stakeholders.
Relevant experience within Events, Sport and/or organisations in a start-up/build phase will also be well regarded.
