 
        
        **As a Trainer and Assessor**, you will deliver high-quality language, literacy, and numeracy training programs to empower learners and support their vocational and personal goals. This hands-on role involves designing and evaluating training, conducting assessments, and maintaining accurate reporting to meet government contract requirements and national standards.
**Key Responsibilities**:
- Deliver engaging and client-focused language, literacy, and numeracy training using adult learning principles and a variety of methodologies. 
- Conduct diagnostic, formative, and summative assessments, ensuring timely and accurate reporting of client progress. 
- Design, develop, and validate tools and resources that align with program and learner needs. 
- Foster learner engagement through real-world, project-based learning and innovative use of technology. 
- Maintain accurate records of training delivery and ensure compliance with privacy and reporting requirements. 
- Continuously improve professional knowledge and skills through training, curriculum development, and the adoption of new technologies.
**Qualifications**: 
**It is essential you can demonstrate the following criteria**:
- ** A Bachelor of Education or equivalent.**:
- ** Postgraduate qualifications in TESOL, Applied Linguistics, or Adult LLN** (e.g., Grad Dip TESOL). 
- ** Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (TAE40116, TAE40122) or equivalent qualifications required by ASQA.**:
- Demonstrated teaching capability and recent experience delivering client-focused education. 
- Proficiency in using classroom technology and an ability to integrate innovative tools into teaching. 
- Skilled in conducting assessments using nationally accredited curricula (e.g., EAL, FSK, CSWE) and frameworks (e.g., ACSF). 
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with experience working in multicultural learning environments.
**Desirable Criteria**:
- Knowledge of AQTF principles and continuous improvement initiatives. 
- Experience using learning management systems (e.g., Moodle, Canvas) and student management systems (e.g., VETtrak). 
- Proficiency in the Microsoft Office suite. 
- Industry experience in fields relevant to learners' job aspirations, such as hospitality, community services, or warehousing.
