About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Tropicana Dump Truck Operator to join our team. As a key member of our operations, you will be responsible for operating surface dump trucks safely and efficiently.
Key Responsibilities:
* Safe Operation of Equipment: Operate surface dump trucks in an open-cut mining environment, ensuring compliance with safety regulations and guidelines.
* Transportation of Materials: Transport materials to designated areas, following established routes and procedures.
* Maintenance and Repair: Perform routine maintenance tasks and repairs on equipment as needed.
* Communication and Teamwork: Collaborate with other team members to achieve project goals and objectives.
Requirements:
To be successful in this role, you will need:
* Extensive Experience: A minimum of 2 years' experience operating surface dump trucks.
* CAT Dump Truck Experience: Proven experience operating CAT dump trucks (785/789 & 793's).
* C Class Driver's Licence: Possession of a valid C-class driver's licence.
* Fleet Management Systems: Familiarity with fleet management systems and priority rules desirable.
