The role of Senior Advisor plays a pivotal part within the First Nations Engagement Team to drive the implementation of small, medium, and Indigenous business procurement and supplier participation programs.
Key responsibilities include:
* Designing and implementing frameworks for subcontractor and supplier engagement.
* Providing expert advice on culturally safe and inclusive sourcing strategies, tender readiness, and supplier participation planning.
* Managing supplier participation data, performance metrics, and reporting dashboards.
* Coordinating business capability and readiness programs to enhance commercial and technical capacity of suppliers.
* Supporting the development of procurement management tools and supplier relationship frameworks.
* Representing the organization at regional and industry forums to promote procurement inclusion and build partnerships.
