KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Site Manager
This position is a hands-on management role responsible for the day-to-day management and operational excellence of the nominated sites and teams.
Promote and lead a Safety Culture towards Zero Harm, ensuring adherence and compliance to all site and business safety requirements.
Interface with the Client and other stakeholders on activity coordination, including managing required documentation (work permits, SWMS, etc.)
Supervise and coordinate activities of technicians and contractors, ensuring compliance with all WHSE requirements.
Ensure all site and company KPIs are met, including completing all compliance inspections as required.
Prepare reports for the Client (Routine, ITPs, progress, etc.)
Manage subcontractors and procurement processes.
Oversee operational and technical project management tasks.
Required experience: Experience as a Site Manager on operational sites is highly desirable; minimum 2 years in Operations and Maintenance of utility-scale Solar or renewable projects (or transferrable experience).
Required qualifications: Electrical Qualification (Diploma/degree in Electrical Engineering/Electronics preferred) or other technical training; Electrical Licence for the relevant state (preferred); LVR/CPR certificate; First Aid certificate.
Perform routine and advanced maintenance, inspections, and troubleshooting on mechanical and electrical systems; diagnose and resolve complex issues, repairing or replacing faulty components as needed.
Develop and implement maintenance SOPs, provide training, ensure safety standards compliance, and maintain accurate records of all maintenance, repairs, and inspections.
Provide leadership and mentorship to junior technicians, collaborate across departments, and assist with new system installations.
Respond promptly to emergency maintenance requests and participate in continuous improvement initiatives.
Required experience: Extensive experience in electrical maintenance, repair, and installation.
Required qualifications: Valid QLD electrical supervisors or contractor's license, valid driver's license, LVR/CPR current certificate, First Aid current certificate.
