With two main acute facilities based at Leongatha and Korumburra, GSHS offers a broad range of specialist, general, acute, subacute, ambulatory, residential aged care and community services.
On 1 January 2026 five health services (Kooweerup Regional Health Service, Peninsula Health, Alfred Health, Bass Coast Health and Gippsland Southern Health Service) will come together to create Bayside Health. A newly merged health service with more than 22,000 employees caring for a community of over 1.2 million Victorians. The new health service will provide people with the best possible care with services that support them throughout their lives. The merger will also strengthen our workforce, providing new training, education and career opportunities. Subject to final approval on 1 January 2026, all employees from the five health services will transfer to Bayside Health.
About the RoleAn opportunity has become available for a suitably experienced Grade 1 or Grade 2 Physiotherapist with relevant clinical experience to join our progressive and committed physiotherapy team in a part-time (0.6 EFT) capacity.
About YouWith the experience and clinical scope to manage a variety of caseloads across inpatient, outpatient, residential care and community-based teams, job satisfaction and clinical variety is a given. Therapists with a special interest in the provision of early intervention, paediatric services would be highly valued. Professional development opportunities will be offered to expand knowledge and skills in any area of physiotherapy practice.
