The Role
We are seeking an experienced and motivated Insurance Broker / Account Manager to join our Byron Bay branch.
This role is responsible for managing and servicing an existing portfolio of commercial and domestic insurance clients, while also identifying opportunities to grow the portfolio through new business and cross-selling.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys building long-term client relationships and wants to further develop their career within a growing national broking group.
Key Responsibilities
Manage and service an established portfolio of commercial and domestic insurance clients
Provide high-quality advice and tailored insurance solutions to meet client needs
Prepare renewals, quotations, policy documentation, endorsements, and claims assistance
Build strong relationships with clients, insurers, and internal stakeholders
Identify opportunities to grow the portfolio through new business, upselling, and cross-selling
Ensure compliance with regulatory, licensing, and PSC internal requirements
Maintain accurate and up-to-date client records and documentation
Contribute positively to the Byron Bay branch culture and team collaboration
About You
Experience working as an Insurance Broker or Account Manager (commercial and/or domestic)
Strong customer service and relationship management skills
A proactive mindset with a desire to grow and develop a portfolio
Good understanding of insurance products, policy wordings, and insurer markets
Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
Ability to work autonomously while also being a team player
Tier 1 qualification (or equivalent) preferred
Experience with broking systems and Microsoft Office
