Responsibilities
Development of functionalities as per business requirements.
Configuration of different modules in PoA including System, SCADA, DMS, OMS and related components.
Writing PL/SQL, Shell, Perl scripts; experience with PI Historian and integration with OT applications.
Configuration and setup of SOAP services and interfaces; setup of SOAP web services.
Setup / configuration of SCADA simulating tool (SimSCADA).
Configuration of PoA Application and Database server, reports server, FEP server, Historian database, DPF (Dist. Power Flow) application server, Proxy Server.
Reports development using Microsoft SQL Server Report Builder and deploying reports to SQL Server Reporting Services.
Bringing servers into replication and testing replication of various servers (Application, Reports and Proxy Servers).
Knowledge on PoA cartography for network build.
Monitoring system for errors, troubleshooting, transaction stick handling, resolution and support.
Collaborate with the business team to incorporate inputs during development.
Write test cases as per business requirements and execute test cases.
Guiding and supporting the team during System Integrations.
Excellent business writing and communication skills, including the ability to develop and deliver clear, concise presentations.
Qualifications
Functional / technical knowledge on the following: configuration of PoA modules, system, and integration points.
Experience with PL/SQL, Shell, Perl scripts; knowledge of SOAP web services.
Experience with PoA components and its configuration, including Group Tele Control, Automation, system tracing, Symbol Design, Alarm Configurations, etc.
Experience integrating PoA with OT applications like PI Historian and other corporate systems.
Ability to provide guidance in defining solution architecture considering PoA integration with external systems.
Knowledge on setup and configuration of SCADA tools and environment.
Experience in Windows and Linux server environments; valuable understanding of OSI PI is a plus.
Functional understanding of Power Transmission and Distribution.
Customer interactions and ability to work in a multi-vendor environment.
Excellent written and oral communication skills; ability to write procedures, guidelines, and O&M; documentation.
Knowledge on Agile Project Management Methodology
Knowledge on Java, .NET
Testing and design: ability to design system and integration test plans / scripts and perform unit testing
