Looking to take the next step in your dental assisting career? Our East Maitland centre is seeking an experienced Dental Assistant who is passionate about high-level dentistry and wants to work in a practice where their full skill set is valued and utilised.
This is a standout opportunity to work closely with experienced clinicians in a busy, advanced practice delivering complex dental treatments, while enjoying a consistent roster.
Our Opportunity
* Permanent full-time position
* Monday to Friday roster –1 Saturday a month
* Modern, well-equipped centre delivering complex and advanced dentistry
* Exposure to a wide range of treatments including:
o IV sedation
o Implants
o Surgical extractions
o Complex restorative and surgical procedures
* Supportive Centre Leader and highly skilled clinical team
* Busy, established practice with a diverse and challenging caseload

What You'll Be Doing
* Chair-side assisting across complex and advanced dental procedures
* Supporting IV sedation, implant and surgical workflows
* Maintaining the highest standards of sterilisation and infection control
* Preparing treatment rooms and assisting clinicians throughout procedures
* Delivering safe, professional and empathetic patient care
* Supporting smooth daily clinic operations
* Working closely with clinicians to ensure exceptional patient outcomes

About You
* Proven experience as a Dental Assistant (essential)
* Confidence assisting across complex and surgical procedures
* Experience or interest in IV sedation, implants and oral surgery
* Strong knowledge of infection control and clinical compliance
* Reliable, professional and calm under pressure
* Team-focused with excellent communication skills
* Passion for delivering exceptional patient care
