Key Responsibilities
Food Preparation and Cooking: Prepare and cook a wide variety of menu items to high standards, using fresh ingredients and adhering to food safety guidelines.
Menu Planning and Development: Work with the team to develop new menu ideas and improve existing dishes, considering seasonal produce and customer preferences.
Stock Control and Wastage: Maintain accurate stock levels, monitor wastage, and implement strategies to reduce waste and minimize costs.
Team Training and Development: Provide on-the-job training and coaching to junior staff members, helping them to develop their skills and confidence.
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will need:
 * Minimum 3 years' experience in a similar role.
 * Excellent cooking skills and knowledge of kitchen operations.
 * Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
 * Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
 * Flexibility to work a variety of shifts, including days, evenings, weekends, and public holidays.
