Job DescriptionThis is a remote position.Job OverviewSet Up My Offshore (SUMO) is currently looking for an HR - Employee Relations Officer who will work closely with the Relationship Manager to support organizational goals by addressing employee needs and fostering a positive work environment. You will serve as a primary point of contact for employees, assist with onboarding, and contribute to employee engagement initiatives. Additionally, you will collaborate with HR and other departments to implement special projects and ensure smooth operations.Job ResponsibilitiesWork closely with the Relationship Manager to identify business needs and develop solutions that support organizational goals.Collaborate with HR and other departments.Participate in implementing special projects.Serve as the primary contact for employees.Address and mediate employee issues or conflicts, reporting escalated matters to management.Provide information and support to employees regarding company policies, benefits, and resources.Assist in onboarding new employees, providing resources, information, and a welcoming introduction to the company culture.Develop and implement initiatives to enhance employee engagement and morale, such as workshops, team-building activities, and recognition programs.Gather employee feedback through surveys, meetings, and informal discussions; report insights to management for continuous improvement.Conduct regular employee check-ins to ensure support.Perform administrative duties for the service delivery team, including maintaining databases, drafting documents, and ensuring completion of pre-employment requirements.Assist the Relationship Manager with time-keeping duties for payroll.Requirements5+ years of experience in Employee Relations and HR roles (preferred but not mandatory).Strong stakeholder management skills.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.Experience working with international clients (desirable).Background in event coordination is a plus.Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.Proven ability to resolve conflicts and handle multiple tasks efficiently.Familiarity with HR software and database management.BenefitsRemuneration package commensurate with experience.Permanent WFH arrangement.Annual salary review.Two-week holiday shutdown.In-house and outdoor company events, such as team building, Christmas parties, and quarterly meet-ups.Work equipment provision.Fixed day-shift schedule.Other Benefits (discussed during offer stage)HMO for the employee and one dependent.13th-month pay.Milestone treats for birthdays and anniversaries.20 annual leaves, with leave accrual from day one.Government-mandated benefits (SSS, Pag-IBIG, PhilHealth).
