Remuneration & Location
Remuneration: $172,761 to $193,229 pa (HEW10) inclusive of $145,985 to $163,281 salary pa, 17% superannuation and 17.5% recreation leave loading.
Location: Kelvin Grove (hybrid option available).
Term: Ongoing, full-time. Reference number: 26251.

Position Overview
We are seeking a Manager, Data Services to join Digital Business Solutions, Administrative Division.
The Manager will provide leadership and strategic management to a team of technical staff to deliver high‐quality, reliable and cohesive business and technical integration services and platforms to QUT. They will spearhead the technology shift from our complex, legacy landscape to a managed, secure and scalable portfolio built on operationally sustainable integration and platform solutions.
Through collaboration with portfolio, cloud engineering and security teams, the Manager will lead the modernisation, automation and ongoing optimisation of integration and infrastructure processes. This includes driving the development of managed application environments that enable functional portfolio teams to focus on features, rather than foundational service development.
The Manager has an ongoing operational accountability for deployed integrations and platforms to ensure uptime, scalability, performance, patching and security.
This role is offered as a hybrid position in alignment with QUT's commitment to virtual and connected work.
Qualifications
* Education, training and/or relevant experience equivalent to completion of postgraduate qualifications in Information Technology with extensive relevant experience.
* Proven success in leading and managing complex integration and platform teams at enterprise scale, promoting a coherent team culture focused on achieving organisational goals.
* Proven experience developing and optimising operational and delivery practices and processes focused on delivering scalable, reliable, and secure services leveraging industry best‐practice engineering principles.
* Demonstrated ability to effectively manage, liaise and influence decisions with a diverse range of stakeholders, including senior executive leaders.
* Advanced knowledge and expertise with modern Data Engineering and Integration technologies with the ability to research, critically appraise and evaluate new technologies and approaches.
* Proven planning and organisational skills, with experience establishing own and workflow priorities, and working across a diverse number of initiatives within tight and competing timelines.
* Demonstrated ability to maintain productive and collaborative working relationships, including the ability to develop and present concepts and negotiate with and influence diverse stakeholders.
