A well-established higher education provider offering accredited undergraduate and postgraduate programs in information systems to both domestic and international students. The institution is registered with TEQSA and is listed on CRICOS to enrol overseas students.
About the Role
We are seeking a Senior Admissions and Student Support Officer to manage the end-to-end admissions functions, maintain high standards of application quality, and contribute to continuous improvement of student-related processes. This role also plays a key part in visa-related processing and ensures a smooth transition for students from enquiry through to enrolment.
The ideal candidate will be service-focused, highly organised, and confident communicating with a wide range of stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
Admissions
Manage the assessment and processing of student applications, including Genuine Student (GS) reviews.
Prepare, check and issue offer letters promptly to support strong conversion rates.
Maintain accurate records across PRISMS/Meshed and generate/approve CoEs in line with legislative and institutional requirements.
Provide timely and professional responses to enquiries about courses, entry requirements and application processes.
Work closely with recruitment, finance, marketing and campus teams to ensure seamless operations.
Manage activities following each intake, such as deferrals, withdrawals and cancellations.
Identify opportunities to refine and enhance admissions processes.
Conduct academic and English language skills assessments.
Support projects or tasks as directed by the Admissions leadership team.
Student Support
Deliver a consistent, high-quality front-of-house experience to students and visitors.
Offer guidance, information and referrals to support student wellbeing and their overall study experience.
Carry out a range of administrative duties including transcript follow-up, preparing official documents, reception functions, correspondence, data updates, filing and reporting.
Assist with the planning and delivery of campus events, tours and engagement activities.
Develop strong rapport with students to foster a supportive and welcoming environment.
Provide non-academic support to international students in accordance with the ESOS Act and National Code ****.
Support campus administration to ensure compliance with institutional policies and procedures.
Use Microsoft Office programs efficiently to produce documents, manage data and support operational workflows.
About You
Experience
3-4 years of experience within the international education sector, ideally in admissions and student services.
Experience with student or CRM systems, including Meshed.
Strong capability across Microsoft Office applications (intermediate to advanced level).
Knowledge
Understanding of regulatory frameworks such as the ESOS Act and National Code.
Knowledge of qualification types and assessment processes.
Skills & Attributes
