About the role
We are seeking a skilled and motivated Locum Pharmacist to join a hospital pharmacy department in Central Queensland, Mackay-Whitsunday Region. This role focuses on delivering safe, high-quality pharmacy services within an inpatient and acute care setting.
Key responsibilities include:
* Review and verify medication orders for safety and accuracy
* Provide inpatient pharmacy services across hospital wards
* Work collaboratively with multidisciplinary clinical teams
* Complete medication reconciliation, counselling, and discharge planning
* Maintain accurate clinical documentation
To be successful in the role you will have:
* Bachelor of Pharmacy (or equivalent)
* Current AHPRA registration (essential)
* Australian working rights
* National Police Check
* Minimum 2 years' experience
* Hospital or strong community pharmacy experience (community considered)
