My client, a national automotive client, is looking for mechanics for permanent roles, paying $85,000 per year and is based in Wangara.
Your new role
In your new role as a Mechanic, your duties will include but not limited to:
* Maintain, test, and repair light motor vehicles and mechanical components of different vehicles
* Detect and diagnose defects in engines and parts
* Disassemble and remove engine assemblies, transmissions, steering mechanisms, and other components for inspection
* Repair and replace worn or defective parts, following service manuals as necessary
* Perform scheduled maintenance services like oil changes, lubrications, and engine tune-ups to ensure smooth vehicle operation and compliance with pollution regulations
* Reassembling of engines and parts after repairs
* Test and adjust mechanical parts post-repair to guarantee proper performance
* Utilise computer assistance for diagnosing and testing parts
* May conduct vehicle inspections and issue roadworthiness certificates or recommend necessary work for roadworthiness
* May provide assistance in response to vehicle breakdown incidents.
What you'll need to succeed
* A minimum cert III and experience in a similar role essential
* Full Australian working rights as a Permanent resident or Australian citizen
