About the role
We are looking for an experienced Mine Surveyor to undertake surveys and maintenance of an up-to-date database of mining activities used to support other mining professionals in ore body reconciliation.
This role can be fulfilled as a FIFO role from any major Australian airport.
A very competitive salary package is offered for this role.
About you
Qualifications:
- A diploma in Surveying.
Demonstrated experience:
- Five years plus in a similar role within Australia
- Competent operation of Leica GNSS and Total Station
- Competent technical ability, including RTK GPS and RTS surveys
- 3D terrestrial scanning
- Volumetric surveys
- Monitoring and deformation surveys
Demonstrated personal qualities, skills and abilities:
- Good interpersonal skills with the ability to ensure effective two-way communication when consulting and communicating with clients to understand and achieve their requirements
- Self-motivated with the ability to work autonomously and within a small team in a high pressure environment
- High level verbal reasoning skills
- Strong written communication ability
Required Certificates, Licences and Registrations:
- Valid White Card
- Current First Aid and CPR certificates
- Full Australian work rights
