Job Overview
This role plays a pivotal part in embedding proactive safety practices and ownership throughout the organisation.
The ideal candidate will conduct workplace inspections, lead incident investigations, and guide hazard identification and risk assessments.
* Provide coaching and support to operational leaders to ensure they embed proactive safety practices and ownership.
* Conduct thorough workplace inspections, lead or support incident investigations (Levels 3–5), and contribute to the development of safety procedures and risk frameworks.
Key Responsibilities:
* Translate complex safety concepts into practical guidance for stakeholders at all levels.
* Support new safety initiatives, cultural improvements, and system enhancements.
* Analyse safety data to identify trends, near misses, and predictive risks.
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will need:
* A minimum of 8 years' experience as a safety professional within a comparable regulatory or operational environment.
* Strong communication skills with the ability to engage confidently with frontline staff and middle management.
* Excellent report writing, presentation, and concise communication capabilities.
* Ability to translate technical concepts for non-technical audiences.
Desirable Qualifications:
* Minimum Diploma or Graduate Diploma/Bachelor in Occupational Health & Safety.
* ICAM qualification.
