The Opportunity
Due to business growth, we are looking to increase our team of Domestic Assistants.
A typical day will include visiting consumers' homes in Forster, Tuncurry, Taree and surrounding areas to tend to washing and managing laundry duties, as well as performing various cleaning tasks such as sweeping, vacuuming, mopping, dusting, and sanitising surfaces.
Domestic services are provided to consumers in their own homes, both within the Sunrise Village and in the wider community. Regular checks of store cupboards are conducted to ensure adequate stock levels, with prompt reporting to management for replenishment as needed. Any damages or concerns related to work, health, and safety are promptly reported to management to maintain a safe environment for both staff and consumers.

Requirements
* Demonstrated experience in the Aged Care Sector or similar
* A strong commitment to working with older people or those with a disability is essential
* Ability to work effectively in a team and independently
* Current Drivers' Licence and access to motor vehicle with full Comprehensive Motor Vehicle Insurance
* Current satisfactory Police Check (less than 3 years old)
* First Aid/CPR Certificate is desirable.
