Role Overview
The role of a Project Engagement Specialist is crucial in the delivery of infrastructure projects in Queensland.
This position involves coordinating community and stakeholder engagement, developing communication strategies, and researching project materials.
Key Responsibilities
* Coordinate community and stakeholder engagement for infrastructure projects, developing and implementing communication strategies and researching project materials.
* Provide strategic communications advice and support on community engagement, issues management, risk assessment, and communication strategies using appropriate tools.
* Develop and maintain positive relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including government officers, industry stakeholders, local business, and the general community.
* Prepare executive correspondence and communications materials, including media statements and responses, ministerial briefings, newsletters, flyers, display materials, speech notes, and website content.
* Research and prepare project briefing materials and reporting for leadership and project teams, maintaining integrity and confidentiality while following record management policy and procedures.
