Position Overview: We are looking for an Event Manager to join our event management team.
This role provides exceptional client experiences while coordinating end-to-end event management from event confirmation, up until the day of the event, communicating with the client and gathering information to ensure every detail has been entered into the system correctly and passed along to the operations team. Regular Monday-Friday work week with flexibility to attend night/weekend events on occasion.
Main Duties:
* End to end management of events from signed contract to execution, while providing the highest level of customer service with attention to detail.
* Liaise with clients to discuss details of events and keep systems up to date with details.
* Coordinate the requirements of events including AV, catering (food and beverage menus), set up, resources needed, running order, suppliers/contractors, bump in/out schedule, floorplans, etc.
* Create and conduct detailed briefs for operations to ensure the event runs as smoothly as possible.
* Manage event planning and execution timelines, ensuring everything stays on track.
Skills/Experience Required:
* At least 3 years' experience as an Event Manager.
* At least 3 years' experience in Hospitality.
* Strong organisational, administration and time management abilities.
* Exceptional customer service & client management skills within events.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* Proficient in Microsoft Office, Event Management and floorplan systems.
