Bakers Delight Willows is seeking a reliable and skilled baking professional to join our team. This role offers the opportunity to work in a fast-paced retail bakery focused on delivering fresh, high-quality products to the local community.
Duties & Responsibilities
* Prepare, mix, knead, and shape dough for a variety of bread, rolls, and specialty baked goods
* Bake products in accordance with recipes and production schedules to ensure consistency and quality
* Monitor fermentation, proofing, and oven conditions to achieve optimal baking results
* Ensure all products meet freshness, quality, and presentation standards before display
* Maintain a clean, safe, and organised workspace in compliance with food safety regulations
* Assist with stock control, ingredient ordering, and inventory management
* Work collaboratively with team members to meet daily production targets
* Support merchandising and maintain attractive product displays in-store
Requirements
* Relevant qualification in baking or a minimum of 2–3 years' experience in a commercial bakery
* Strong knowledge of dough preparation, fermentation, and baking techniques
* Ability to follow recipes accurately and work efficiently in a high-volume environment
* Strong time management skills with flexibility to work early mornings, weekends, and public holidays
* High attention to detail and commitment to maintaining hygiene and quality standards
