We are seeking a highly motivated Risk & Compliance Systems Analyst to help maintain and enhance our Enterprise Risk Management (ERM) system, supporting the delivery of high-quality risk and compliance outcomes across RAC Insurance.
Your Purpose
In this role, you will support the Principal - Risk and Compliance (Systems) in ensuring the effective operation, evolution, and user experience of RAC's risk and compliance platform (Protecht). You'll be instrumental in maintaining system integrity, improving functionality, and aligning systems with internal and external compliance requirements.
This role is offered on a Permanent Part Time basis at 0.5 FTE (2.5 days per week).
What You Will Be Doing:
- Maintain and enhance the ERM system and associated registers (Risks, Controls, Incidents, Obligations, etc.).
- Support system users and champion continuous improvement of user experience.
- Identify opportunities to improve system architecture, design, governance, and integration.
- Collaborate on coding, dashboard development, and register configuration.
- Deliver system change requests in line with agreed timeframes.
- Monitor vendor performance and ensure contractual obligations are met.
- Document key system processes and support automation initiatives.
- Ensure data quality and compliance through robust system controls and testing.
What You'll Bring:
- Tertiary qualifications in Information Systems, IT, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Hands-on experience with Javascript, JSON, HTML, and preferably SQL.
- Background in managing system changes within ERM or similar platforms (Protecht experience highly regarded).
- Strong technical capability in building APIs and implementing system improvements.
- Excellent organisation, problem-solving, and stakeholder engagement skills.
- A continuous improvement mindset and ability to work independently with urgency and diligence.
- Familiarity with risk management frameworks or governance standards (desirable).
