We're looking for a dynamic, passionate, and experienced Practice Manager to join our team in Mount Isa. This is your opportunity to drive change, lead a dedicated team, and shape services that truly make an impact.
As the Mount Isa Domestic Violence Practice Manager, you'll:

About You
You're a future‐focused, compassionate leader with:
* Degree in human services (or 5+ years' experience in a similar field).
* Minimum 3 years' professional experience in domestic and family violence or related areas.
* Advanced knowledge of DFV legislation, risk assessment frameworks, and trauma‐informed practice.
* Strong cultural capability and commitment to working respectfully with First Nations peoples.
What We're Looking For – Selection Criteria
To succeed in this role, you'll bring:
* Qualifications and Experience – Degree‐level qualification in a relevant human services discipline OR a minimum of 5 years' experience in a similar field and at least 3 years' full‐time equivalent professional experience in domestic and family violence or related human services roles.
* Knowledge – Advanced knowledge of DFV legislation, risk assessment frameworks, information sharing guidelines/legislation and expertise in trauma‐informed practices.
* Line Management – Experience line managing and supervising staff, providing practice direction and specialist practice advice.
* Cultural Capability – Can modify practice to meet the context and experience of First Nations peoples to ensure genuine cultural capability for self, staff and team.
* Compliance – Ability to develop policies and practices, ensure compliance and drive continuous improvement.
* Leadership – Values‐driven, resilient and emotionally intelligent leader with advanced decision making and problem‐solving skills.
* Child Safety – Advanced understanding of the complex ways children are harmed through their experiences of DFV.
* Partnerships – Ability to establish higher‐order networks and relationships across the sector to facilitate smooth referral pathways and effective information sharing.
Mandatory Requirements
* Current QLD C Class Driver's Licence.
* Current Working with Children Check (Blue Card).
* Australia: National Police Check Clearance – at organisation expense.
