ROLE PURPOSE
We're looking for a Shopping Editor to lead Style-ish's shopping and lifestyle editorial direction, while staying deeply embedded in the day-to-day execution that brings it to life.
This is a hands‐on role for someone who loves both big‐picture strategy and the grind of great content. You'll set the tone for our shopping website, drive affiliate performance, steer our native advertising strategy, and ensure every piece of content feels sharp, relevant, elevated and distinctly Style-ish. You'll also possibly step behind the mic from time to time, contributing as a guest host on the podcast (approximately once a month).
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
* Own the editorial direction of the Style-ish shopping website. This includes guiding what we cover, how we cover it, and why it matters.
* Write, edit, and publish high-performing website content every day (this is a very hands-on role).
* Manage, monitor, and report sales data for affiliate links.
* Drive a culture of re-purposing content from socials, podcasts, and newsletters to the website.
* Drive affiliate strategy and revenue, including product selection, link optimisation, and performance tracking.
* Stay across trends in fashion, beauty, lifestyle, and internet culture, identifying opportunities quickly and executing on them.
* Maintain a consistent, engaging, and trustworthy tone that resonates with a large, mainstream audience.
* Collaborate closely with podcast producers and hosts to align editorial and contribute to content.
* Guest-host on the Style-ish podcast (roughly once per month).
* Manage deadlines and publishing schedules in a fast-paced environment.
* Contribute to content planning, campaigns, and cross-platform storytelling (newsletter, podcast, social).
* Present a monthly sales & performance report on the website.
REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
* Experience in editorial, digital media, or content roles (mid/senior-level expectation).
* A strong understanding of shopping content and affiliate marketing, you know what converts and why.
* Exceptional writing and editing skills, with a clear, engaging voice.
* Willingness to be hands-on with execution, this is not a purely strategic role!
* Strong commercial instinct paired with editorial judgment.
* Confidence to step into a hosting role when needed.
* Highly organised, detail-oriented, and comfortable juggling multiple deadlines.
* A genuine love of fashion, beauty, business, trends, and storytelling.
REALITY OF THE ROLE
* This is a very hands-on remit. Alongside setting direction, you'll be in the weeds: writing, editing, building links, pitching ideas for all editorial, and making sure everything runs on time.
