Experienced Dispatch Controller/MR Driver required for a national Manufacturing business
**Your current company**
Operating since 1899, this national family owned business specialises in the manufacturing of quality mattresses for you to get a better nights rest. They are seeking a new team member as a Dispatch Controller to work in their Hobart warehouse
**Your new role**
You will be responsible for supervising your designated work team to ensure efficient and effective storage and despatch of finished products.
You will also be required too:
- Supervise any staff within the despatch area
- Daily update of invoices and products ready for shipping
- Ensuring products and deliverers are scheduled and ready to go in order to meet tight deadlines
- Adhering to WHS guidelines and ensuring your team are also working to this.
**What you'll need to succeed**
You will need to have a work history in warehousing/logistics despatch environment. You will be familiar with shipping of products and the required process around this.
You will also need:
- MR Licence
- Fork lift licence
- Computer Literate
- Team player
- Ability to use initiative
- Highly organised and a keen eye for detail
**What you'll get in return**
This position will be busy, it will start out as a temporary contract, but if it works well it could become a permanent position for the right person.
