About The Role
We are looking for a Legal Assistant to join our Migration team on a full-time basis. The Migration team is highly organised, with established processes, procedures, and checklists to ensure the consistent delivery of high-quality work. The team advises organisations and individuals on navigating Australia's migration system, helping businesses secure visas for a diverse workforce and supporting families to reunite and realise their personal goals. They collaborate with other Mullins practice groups to provide integrated, industry-specific migration solutions.
Responsibilities
* Assist in the preparation of visa application checklists and drafting related procedural client emails for our migration practitioners to review and action
* Assist in the preparation of other related visa application documents
* General secretarial tasks such as diary management and arranging appointments
* General support in liaising with clients and government bodies
* File management and billing
* Observing strict deadlines and working with shifting priorities
* General administration duties, and the ability to prioritise workflow
* Ability to work independently, as well as part of a team

* Accurate typing speed of at least 65 wpm
