This position offers the opportunity for professional growth, including accreditation and corresponding pay increases. As a valued member of our team, you will contribute to our mission of exceeding client expectations by consistently delivering accurate, high-quality results on time.The day to dayPreparation of and analysis of samplesEnsuring all activities are conducted in accordance with the Quality ProceduresPrioritising daily workloadsEnsuring compliance with the laboratory’s Quality controlDay to day Laboratory dutiesMaintaining relevant documentationReporting analytical results of Asbestos fibres.10:15am to 6:30pm Monday to Friday.Some weekend work is requiredThe essentials1-2 years Laboratory experienceExperience with Stereo, Polarised Microscope or Phase Contrast Microscope is desirable but not essential.Tertiary qualifications in a related area are desirable but not essentialA desire to work in a high-throughput, client-focused environment, with preference given to those with previous commercial laboratory experienceExcellent attention to detail, organisational and time management skillsDedication to good laboratory practices regarding quality of results and health and safetyWillingness to be cross trained in other sections of the laboratoryWorking at ALSOur people drive our success at ALS.We are a diverse and dedicated community united by our passion to make a difference in the world.
