Job Description:
We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Administration Manager to join our high performing team with a workplace with relationships built on mutual trust and respect.
The Patient Administration and Transport Manager will provide leadership to all patient administration and hospital orderly services. This role is responsible for ensuring the effective planning, evaluation and quality improvement in clerical Pre-admissions, Patient Admissions, Switchboard, Sessional Suite Administration, Breast Health Clinic Administration, Ward Clerks, Estimations, Theatre Bookings and Hospital Orderly services.
This role is pivotal in developing and maintaining collaboration with the clinical teams to ensure the delivery of excellent standards of patient focussed care and the highest standards of customer service. The role works closely with the Assistant Directors of Clinical and Procedural Services, Revenue and Health Information Services to ensure the effective processing of all hospital administration to maximise revenue for the Hospital.

Things that work for us:
- Relevant tertiary qualifications e.g. Business Management and or Postgraduate qualifications in Leadership / Management / Business Administration
- Experience in managing large teams
- Experience providing and leading a high-quality customer focussed service
- Experience developing and maintaining collaborative and effective relationships with multilevel stakeholders
- Working knowledge and understanding of relevant regulations and legislation
- Demonstrated ability to motivate and develop self and others
- Contracts administration / management experience
- Experience supporting others to manage teams
