This full-time role involves providing evidence-based assessment, information, and treatment for clients at the St Leonard's Community Health Centre, using a stepped care approach that includes comprehensive assessment, brief and ongoing counselling, consultation, and referral to other agencies.

Remuneration
Dependent on qualification, with salary ranges for Allied Health Level 1/2 ($1,407.23 - $2,007.59) and Psychologist ($1,482.56 - $2,169.97).

Location
This role is based at Royal North Shore Community Health Centre, St Leonards.
Key Responsibilities
* Provide evidence-based assessment, information, and treatment for clients with drug and alcohol issues.
* Utilize a stepped care approach with comprehensive assessment, counselling, and referrals.
Candidate Requirements
* Qualifications suitable for a mental health professional (Psychologist, Counsellor, or Social Worker) with current registration or eligibility for membership with relevant professional bodies.
* Experience in assessment and treatment of substance use and co-morbid mental health conditions using modalities like CBT, DBT, Schema.
* Ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary team and experience in health promotion, quality projects, and research.
