Job Title: Club Operations Manager
About the Role:
As a Club Operations Manager, you will be responsible for driving a culture of excellence and high performance in our club. You will work closely with our Executive Team, Regional Performance Managers, and Directors to ensure the smooth operation of the club.
Main Responsibilities:
• Oversee the day-to-day operations of the club, ensuring our high-quality facilities are consistently maintained.
• Manage budgets and financials, including member movement, growth, EBIDTA, and retention strategies.
• Recruit, onboard, train, and retain staff members.
• Deliver training, mentoring, and support for department heads, running weekly meetings to engage and motivate teams.
• Oversee staff rostering, approving leave, and fortnightly payroll.
• Utilize internal software systems, including Clubware, Debit Success, and Gym Sales, to determine internal communications and procedures.
• Plan, manage, and execute club events, such as Open Days and Challenges.
• Provide statistical reporting and analysis.
Requirements:
• Experience in a similar role in a big-box gym with over 20 staff and 2,000+ members.
• Proven track record in a KPI-driven environment with a natural drive to achieve targets and team goals.
• Excellent communication skills, ability to build rapport with diverse individuals, and a desire to help people succeed in their goals.
• Growth mindset, passion for fitness, and sales experience.
• Problem-solving abilities, outstanding communication skills, customer focus, and adaptability.
• Ability to be a role model, live by health values, and uphold business policies and procedures.
