Melbourne Investment Banking, Wealth Management Contract or Temporary This global US Private Wealth powerhouse is seeking an Executive Assistant for a long-dated 12-month contract, supporting a high performing UHNW Private Wealth Advisory team in Melbourne. The firm is deeply established across private wealth management, corporate finance, equity research, investment strategy and institutional sales, and is known for fostering a collaborative, respectful and forward thinking culture. In this role, you will become a central part of the advisory function, working closely with senior advisers to ensure the delivery of high quality client service, polished investment material and seamless operational support. Your work will help drive the team’s impact across UHNW client relationships, and you will take ownership of both client facing and internal responsibilities that keep the advisory process running smoothly. Responsibilities • Assist with preparing detailed financial advice documents and investment proposals for UHNW clients • Support the advisory team with day to day client servicing and accurate follow ups • Deliver a consistently high level of client service and manage all inbound and outbound client communication • Ensure all activities comply with current legislation, firm policies and industry standards • Identify opportunities to improve processes and contribute to operational efficiency • Oversee stock settlements, fund transfers and related client instructions • Manage all administrative requirements including documentation, correspondence, meeting preparation and expense reconciliation • Facilitate the onboarding of new clients and maintain accurate client records and internal databases Experience and Qualifications • University degree in Business, Economics or a finance related discipline is highly regarded • Minimum of three years’ experience in a support or assistant capacity within financial services • Experience in a stockbroking or trading assistant environment is highly desirable • Proficiency in Private Wealth or Financial Planning systems including IRESS, Agility and X Plan • RG146 or relevant financial planning coursework is beneficial but not essential Personal Attributes • Proactive and self motivated with strong attention to detail • Confident managing deadlines and multiple priorities in a fast paced wealth environment • Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to build rapport quickly • Excellent organisational skills and a strong sense of ownership • Solid understanding of the ASX, share markets and broader equity markets Applicants must be an Australian Citizen or Permanent Resident.
