Job Summary
Position: Cook (part‑time).
Location: WACHS – Great Southern (Western Australia).
Work Types: Part‑time, Casual/Temporary, Contract, Permanent.
Closing Date: 19 December 2025 4:00 PM (Pacific Time).
Recruitment Pool: Permanent, part‑time and casual appointments at 30.40 hours per fortnight, with possibility of extension(s) and/or permanency. Pool reference:. Appointments may be made from this pool until 29/07/2026.
Eligibility & Conditions
* Valid working visa (fixed‑term) or Australian citizenship, permanent residence, or indefinite visa (permanent appointments).
* WA Health appoints staff in positions of trust and responsibility.
* Applicants must undertake criminal record screening and integrity checking; may also be required to undertake a working‑with‑children check and a pre‑employment health assessment.
* Referral references may be sought for integrity and ethical behaviour.
* If Pre‑Employment Health Assessment (PEHA) is unsatisfactory, the offer of employment will be withdrawn.
