About the roles
JW Marriott Gold Coast Resort & Spa is looking for several roles in Food and Beverage. We are looking for a guest-focused and highly-driven Food and Beverage Supervisor in Event Operations, a Food and Beverage Supervisor in the Misono Restaurant and a Team Leader in Chapter and Verse. These roles will be ensuring their team consistently delivers exceptional experiences for all our guests. You will be responsible for supervising shifts, maintaining guest expectations and providing leadership and support to all staff.

Critical responsibilities:
* Assist management in hiring, training, scheduling, evaluating, counseling, disciplining, and motivating and coaching employees; and serve as a role model and first point of contact of the Guarantee of Fair Treatment/Open Door Policy process.
* Design, confirm, and communicate room layouts and set-up requirements for special events.
* Enter and retrieve information contained in computer databases using a keyboard, mouse, or trackball to update records, files, and reservations.
* Transmit information or documents using computer, mail, or facsimile machine.
* Operate standard office equipment other than computers.
* Prepare weekly departmental payroll paperwork.
* Assist management in hiring, training, scheduling, evaluating, counseling, disciplining, and motivating and coaching employees; and serve as a role model and first point of contact of the Guarantee of Fair Treatment/Open Door Policy process.
* Responsible for all on-site details for executing group events, develop and follow checklist/itinerary, and troubleshoot event problems.
* Serve as liaison and contact person for coordinating details of events with clients, outside vendors, meeting planners, and others involved in events.
Successful Candidates will have:
* Ability to prioritize, multi-task and to work under pressure.
* Customer service experience
* Strong efficiency in spoken and written English Language
* Experience in a similar role for at least 1 year
* Sound knowledge of hospitality, food and beverage or banquet operations
* Proven ability in people management and ability to lead teams under pressure
* Current RSA
* Flexibility to work a rotating roster including evenings when required, weekends/public holidays
