Our ideal applicant will be someone who can demonstrate and achieve these values.We are looking for an experienced Senior Quality, Health, Safety and Environmental Officer to join our team in Griffith.Key Responsibilities:Establish, implement and maintain an integrated management system (IMS) consisting of Quality Management System (QMS), Health & Safety Management System (WHS) and Environmental Management System (EMS).Monitor, maintain and address required changes to IMS procedures, policies and manuals and amend alongside management, as necessary, including but not limited to drafting and implementing procedures and Safe Work Method Statements, monitoring compliance, maintaining registers (including servicing, inspection, incident and injury and skills analysis registers), conducting safety inspections and ensuring adequate completion of staff and subcontractor training and inductions.Assist in the completion of toolbox talks, site reviews and site delineation, as necessary.Assist management in the communication of policy updates and compliance requirements.Attend, plan and minute applicable meetings including quarterly management meetings, WHS meetings and internal staff meetings, as necessary.Plan, facilitate and assist with audits, including internal and external IMS audits.Facilitate discussions, meetings, notifications and inspections with Safe Work and Workers' Compensation Insurance, as necessary.The successful applicant will need to have:In-depth understanding of, or experience with:- Integrated Management Systems (IMS) (including Quality, Health & Safety and Environmental Management systems)- Work Health & Safety (WHS)Familiarity with Safe Work Australia guidelines and Codes of Practice.Experience with:- Liaising with regulators (e.g. SafeWork) and insurance providers.- Communicating audit results and help implement corrective actionsProven experience with legislation and compliance standards, and developing, implementing and maintaining policies, procedures, and manuals within QHSE systems.Driver LicenceDemonstrate good communication and exceptional organisational skillsIn return, you will enjoy:Attractive remuneration packageAnnual leave loadingUniform allowanceA constant focus upon safe work practices, staff development and career progressionA positive workplace culture, involving team building events.
