This is a 3 month fixed term, full-time position commencing Term 1, **** with possible extension and/or permanency Aveley Secondary College (SC) opened in **** and is a large secondary school catering for Years 7 to 12 in Perth's Swan Valley.
The College is recognised as a school of choice with high expectations and standards, a progressive approach and a commitment to excellence.
Teaching and learning at the College is a focus (with Explicit Direct Instruction the signature pedagogy) supported by a rigorous behaviour curriculum and systems to support conditions for learning in the classroom.
Aveley SC's collaborative approach to pedagogy has been recognised as best practice through the Grattan Institute and teaching staff have been filmed by the Australian Education Research Organisation (AERO) as examples of best practice.
A central feature of the college is strong teams with an extensive repertoire of curriculum resources.
As alumni of the Fogarty EDvance program, the school has visitors from across the state and country visiting our classrooms to see our teachers in action.

Find out more about our school by visiting or The Role The successful applicant will ideally have previous experience and knowledge of Vocational Educational Programs and Workplace Learning in schools and will be able to carry out as per listed responsibilities in the JDF.
You will ideally be organised and highly motivated with excellent communication skills.
Additionally, the successful applicant should assist with related administrative processes including monitoring the Workplace Learning Program budget, maintaining the Workplace Learning Program database and preparing relevant correspondence.

Eligibility To work with us, you must: be an Australian or New Zealand citizen, permanent resident or have a valid visa with relevant work rights for the term of the appointment.

Demonstrated experience in developing, implementing, evaluating and reporting on suitable programs for students in acquiring work skills and/or accessing recreational activities.
Demonstrated well developed keyboarding and computer skills, including a working knowledge of databases, spreadsheets and word processing.
Demonstrated sound written, oral and interpersonal communication skills with the ability to establish and maintain effective relationships with staff, students, employers and parents.
Demonstrated initiative and sound organisational skills, including the ability to plan and coordinate activities.
