Rowcon Group is the largest privately owned construction and demolition waste recycler on the Sunshine Coast. We specialise in concrete recycling and construction waste management at our purpose-built state-of-the-art recycling facility located in Caloundra. We process concrete, brick, and asphalt materials into high-quality drainage aggregates and roadbase products, supplying civil contractors and major infrastructure projects with environmentally sustainable solutions
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise and coordinate daily operations of the waste management team, ensuring efficiency and safety.
- Provide guidance and support to team members, fostering a positive and productive work environment.
- Monitor work performance and provide training to ensure adherence to safety protocols and operational standards.
- Assist in the planning and execution of waste management projects, ensuring timelines and quality standards are met.
- Communicate effectively with team members to address any operational challenges.
- Managing and coordinating onsite preventive maintenance alongside of the maintenance officer
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in a similar supervisory or leading hand role within the waste management, recycling, quarrying or related industry.
- Strong knowledge of waste management practices and safety regulations.
- Applicants need to be experienced and proficient in operating front end loaders & excavators. Knowledge of processing equipment & screening plants
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to motivate and inspire a diverse team.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to adapt to changing circumstances.
