Stream Services is a growing NDIS registered provider supporting participants and communities across a large geographic footprint in Queensland.
We are seeking a highly organised, systems-focused Executive Assistant & Compliance Officer to support our Managing Director, Board and Executive Leadership Team, while driving disciplined compliance and continuous improvement across the organisation.

About the role
As the Executive Assistant & Compliance Officer, you will provide high-level executive support alongside responsibility for key compliance and governance functions.
You will:
Support the Managing Director to manage priorities, information flow and stakeholder relationships.
Act as secretariat for the Board and Executive Leadership Team.
Own NDIS compliance registers and internal audit schedules.
Assist with external audits and evidence collation.
Maintain and track continuous improvement and risk registers.
You are the person who pulls things together, follows through and makes sure nothing falls through the cracks.
A key component of this role is working effectively with a neurodiverse executive, tailoring communication, workflows and tools to support focus, clarity and consistent follow-through.
Board & ELT support
Secretariat for Board and ELT, prepare agendas, meeting packs and presentations.
Take clear, action-focused minutes and track follow-up items ensuring key deadlines are not missed.
Executive support
Manage the Managing Director's diary, emails and meeting requests.
Prioritise competing demands and prepare briefings or follow-up notes.
Coordinate travel, accommodation and logistics for key events.
Keep NDIS compliance documentation, policies and registers up to date.
Coordinate the internal audit schedule – reminders, evidence gathering, follow-up.
Assist with external audits (NDIS and other) by collating evidence, files and reports.
Maintain continuous improvement and risk registers, chasing updates and closing out actions.
Look for small process improvements that save time and reduce compliance risk.
What you'll bring to the Team
Demonstrated experience in an Executive Assistant, Governance, Compliance or Quality role supporting senior leaders, ideally in a multi-site service or human services/NDIS environment.
Proven ability to support or partner with a neurodiverse executive.
High-level written and verbal communication, including minute-taking and document design.
Strong proficiency with Microsoft 365 (Outlook, Teams, SharePoint) and confidence using automations and digital workflows.
Ideally, experience using Copilot within Microsoft 365 and/or other AI tools to improve efficiency and quality.
High integrity, discretion, and commitment to confidentiality and person-centred practice.
NDIS Disability Worker Screening (Yellow Card) or eligible to obtain prior to commencement.
Working with Children Check (Blue Card) or eligible to obtain prior to commencement.
Experience working in the NDIS or broader disability/community services sector would be an advantage but not essential.
Travel & our service footprint
Stream Services supports participants across a large geographic area, including regional Queensland.
There may be occasional opportunities to travel to support service sites or leadership priorities.
