The Role Squadron Energy is looking for a contract’s administrator for a 12-month fixed term contract based in our Wollongong office. Reporting to the Squadron Energy Commercial Manager, the Contracts Administrator will support commercial operational readiness for the Port Kembla Energy Terminal (PKET). The primary purpose of the role is to implement consistent contract administration processes and actively manage transactional aspects of contract management across the SQE Operations team. The ideal candidate will be organised, proactive, and ready to manage contract documentation and payments in a fast-paced project environment. Key responsibilities:Support the SQE Commercial Manager and Operations team in commercial operational readiness activities, including payment reconciliations, obtaining approvals, and general administration relating to a portfolio of contracts.Maintain robust records management and contract files.Prepare contract documentation, contract notices, and confidentiality agreements.Facilitate contract approvals inline with the SQE Delegation of Authority.Maintain systems and tools to track accurate contract information.Support procurement activities including the preparation of procurement documentation, and the facilitation of sourcing processes for new service providers.Work collaboratively with Commercial Manager and Operations team to provide advice and support on the status of contracts.Build productive internal and external relationships to facilitate the delivery of effective business outcomes.Support financial and budget forecasting activities, including capital expenditures, operating expenses, and other costs associated with providing services.Support reporting and change management processes.Contribute to a continuous improvement culture and environment throughout the ramp-up of operations and beyond. About you:You will have: Experience in contract administration, ideally related to infrastructure or similar projects—whether you’re just starting out or have several years’ experience.Experience assessing, reconciling, and processing contract claims for payments. SAP experience desirable .Strong records management skills including experience maintaining robust contract files and the use of systems and tools for contract management.Advanced Excel, systems and analytical skills, including a strong attention to detail.Experience preparing contractual documentation including contract notices, schedules, and supply agreements.Strong written and oral communication skillsStrong problem-solving skills, including the ability to use initiative and work autonomously.Experience supporting procurement activities is desirable, including the coordination of scoping exercises, the preparation of procurement documentation, and the facilitation of sourcing, selection, and approval of new service providers.Experience working in the oil and gas industry is desirable.
