The Role :
Membership Consultants are the “Engine Room” of our business. They promote and represent our company, its values, and culture. They seek out new members and demonstrate why Fitness Cartel Australia is the best place for them to reach their fitness goals.
As a Membership Consultant for our new club, you’ll manage a high volume of incoming leads, drive community outreach, respond to sales and inquiries, close deals, and build lasting relationships—all within a five-star health club environment. Initially, you'll be part of the pre-sale team, generating excitement around the upcoming gym, giving tours during the build phase, and starring in social media content. Enjoy extra commissions during this exciting launch period!
Key Responsibilities:
* Manage and grow the club’s membership base through new sales.
* Generate leads using creative and varied techniques, including promoting the facilities to local businesses and the community.
* Contact leads via telephone to maximize sales opportunities.
* Provide sales presentations and tours to prospective members, highlighting features that meet their fitness needs.
* Create positive and personalized member journeys.
* Respond successfully to inquiries and track leads, appointments, and sales daily on our CRM.
* Work with your team to meet and exceed sales targets and KPIs.
* Prioritize and complete tasks in a timely manner following directions.
* Perform other related duties as required.
What you’ll need to succeed:
* At least 3 years of previous sales experience, preferably in the fitness industry.
* A financially motivated individual with a drive to achieve targets.
* Experience in a KPI-driven environment with proactive lead generation skills.
* Ability to build rapport with diverse individuals and a desire to help others succeed.
* Problem-solving skills and resilience.
* Excellent communication skills—listening, understanding, empathizing, and influencing.
* Customer-focused with a passion for delivering exceptional service.
* Ability to embody healthy values and be passionate about the brand.
* A positive, proactive attitude with a willingness to learn and grow.
* Reliability, professionalism, punctuality, and well-presented appearance.
