EOI – Role Design Specialist (3 Month Opportunity)
Clerk Grade: 07/08
Salary range: $113,574 - $125,720 + super
Location: McKell with hybrid working arrangements including office attendance
Employment Type: Temporary 3-month backfill, Full-Time (35hrs p/week)
We are calling for EOIs for a 3‐month opportunity as a Role Design Specialist to cover a leave period. We have factored in a 1‐week handover to assist with the transition and set you up for success.
If you have worked on developing role descriptions and you're keen to build your skills in governance, quality and role design processes, this is a great chance to step into something new and broaden your capability across DCS.
What the Role Involves
You'll work with teams across DCS to:
* Develop and refine role descriptions using our existing tools and templates
* Review draft role descriptions for clarity, consistency and alignment with standards
* Provide practical support and advice on role design
* Maintain and update the DCS role description library and resources
* Contribute to capability mapping and career pathway work
* Grow your skills in governance, quality assurance and structured role design practices
Support and guidance will be available - you don't need to be a specialist already.
