As our Social Media & Marketing Specialist, you'll bring to life the stories, people and communities that show what John Deere and Hutcheon & Pearce mean to those who rely on us every day.
You'll be the one out on farm and jobsites, in branches, at events, and behind the camera – telling the stories that showcase why Hutcheon & Pearce is their trusted partner.
Your content won't just look good; it'll feel real, relatable and unmistakably "Hutchies".
What you'll be doing:
Develop and execute compelling content strategies across Facebook, Instagram, YouTube, LinkedIn and emerging platforms
Travel to branches, farms, jobsites and events to capture high-quality photos, videos and authentic real-life stories.
Create visually engaging content (short-form video, reels, photos, graphics and captions) aligned with our brand voice and vision.
Manage, monitor and grow our social channels - responding to comments in a timely manner and fostering genuine, community-focused engagement.
Edit videos and imagery to a polished, professional standard that is on brand.
Analyse social media performance, identify trends and optimise content to boost reach and engagement.
Stay across platform updates, creative trends, and best-practice social strategy - bringing fresh ideas to the table.
As part of the Marketing Team support the team in other tasks as required.
Be a brand storyteller - capturing the people, machines and innovation that define Hutcheon & Pearce.
What we're looking for
You're creative, curious and confident with a camera - someone who can walk onto a farm, chat with a customer, and capture content that feels real, warm and engaging while balancing storytelling with performance strategy.
You will bring:
2 years' + experience in content creation, social media or digital marketing.
Video production and editing skills, with an eye for storytelling and pacing.
A natural ability to connect with people - customers feel comfortable with you pointing a camera their way.
Excellent written communication with sharp caption-writing and platform-appropriate tone, with a high attention to detail.
Understanding of social media algorithms, analytics tools and engagement strategies.
Strong organisational skills: you can juggle multiple projects, hit deadlines and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
A valid driver's licence and willingness to travel regularly.
