Our client is a is a global leader in smart transport technology, building solutions that make commuting and commercial mobility safer and smarter.
We are currently seeking a Cost Optimisation lead to oversee and implement a range of cost reductions initiatives. The individual will not only diagnose areas for improvement but also take ownership of supplier reviews ensuring measurable benefits to the business.
On offer is a 3 month day rate contract with the possibility for a 3 month extension, based out of our clients South Melbourne office 2-3 days per week with the remaining from home.
Key Responsibilities
* Operational Analysis
* Review and assess defined business expenditures and cost drivers.
* Gather and interpret data to identify cost savings.
* Benchmark Verra Mobility expenditures against the best deals in the market.
* Highlight specific areas where cost savings can be achieved.
* Quantify opportunities with clear financial benefits.
* Prioritise opportunities based on impact, feasibility, and alignment with strategic goals.
Implementation Leadership & Measurement
* Ensure stakeholder engagement through effective consultation and communication.
* Engage with business leadership and teams to deliver agreed cost-reduction initiatives.
* Develop and manage project plans, timelines, and success measures.
* Negotiate new supplier agreements and service contracts including, but not limited to facilities, utilities and freight.
* Monitor progress and report on realised benefits against targets.

* Proven experience in expenditure analysis and cost optimisation.
* Project management expertise, with a track record of delivering measurable outcomes.
