Located 20km west of Sydney on Dharug country with a population of over ****** residents Cumberland City Council is the fourth most populous Local Government Area in Greater Sydney. ABOUT THE OPPORTUNITY
The Arts and Culture team foster access to arts and culture for those who live work play and study in Cumberland by supporting developing and delivering community arts and cultural projects programs and initiatives reflective of Cumberlands communities. The team have been nominated in the **** FBi Radio SMAC Awards for the Best Arts Program for Granville Centre Art Gallery one of Western Sydneys newest contemporary art spaces. The team also lead Council cultural facility Peacock Gallery and Auburn Arts Studio. The teams annual program of activity includes multi artform programs and projects public art Artist in Residence programs and delivery of the Cumberland Cultural Plan.
About this role
Casual position
Located primarily at Councils arts venues Granville Centre Art Gallery and Peacock Gallery precinct and may also work at other Council work sites as required.

Salary Information
Grade 8 of the Cumberland Salary Structure with an hourly rate of $***** to $***** per hour plus 12% superannuation
The commencing salary will be negotiated taking into consideration the successful applicants qualifications skills and experience related to the role
What you'll need for this role
The right to live and work in Australia
Be able to provide information for pre-employment checks required for the position including attending a physical pre-employment medical examination as required
Participate in health monitoring as outlined in the risk assessment for this position and Councils Health Monitoring Procedure as required.
