Digital Canberra is seeking an experienced Senior Network Engineer to join our Network Engineering team.
The role of the Senior Network Engineer in the Engineering Team will require you to provide design, direction, support and maintenance to the ACT Government data networks across all Directorates and sites throughout the ACT, which can include the troubleshooting and rectification of faults and issues, as well as assisting in the deployment of new technology and connections to meet the demands of our ever-growing enterprise. We are seeking a leader and an expert in networking technologies, with the ability to guide and support junior resources. Documentation is also critical to this role, so the ability to review and update technical procedures, processes, knowledge base articles and configurations is essential.

Eligibility/Other requirements:
The position requires the successful applicant to be an Australian citizen and possess, or acquire and maintain, an Australian Government Security Vetting Agency security clearance at the Negative Vetting 1 (NV1) level as an eligibility qualification for the position. If screening is not successful, your employment will not commence or, if already commenced, your employment will be reassessed. This role is also an ACT based position, and only applicants who are based in the ACT or willing to relocate will be considered.
