to join our team. This role is based on-site on the Santos Project, working a FIFO rotational roster (2 weeks on, 2 weeks off roster).
Working closely with our long-standing client, you will play a key role in supporting the delivery of pipeline and lease construction projects across the Cooper Basin.

As an E&I; Tech, your key responsibilities will include:
- Installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of electrical systems (LV/HV) on fixed plant and process equipment on Oil & Gas infrastructures.
- Read and interpret electrical drawings, P&IDs; and loop diagrams.
- Perform glanding and termination of LV/HV cables in accordance with site and hazardous area requirements.
- Perform preventative and breakdown maintenance on pumps, compressors, and other key process infrastructure.
- Assist with commissioning and shutdown activities in live plant environments.
- Ensure all ITPs (Inspection and Test Plans) and FICs (Field Inspection Checklists) are followed and correctly documented.
- Assist in compiling and reviewing E&I; MDRs (Manufacturing Data Reports).
- Work closely with supervisors and QA teams to ensure compliance with client specifications and project standards.
As anElectrician, your key responsibilities will include:
- Install, maintain, and repair electrical wiring, fixtures, control devices, and related equipment.
- Perform preventive maintenance and inspections of electrical systems.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot electrical problems and determine proper solutions.
- Interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and schematics.
- Ensure compliance with electrical codes and safety regulations.
- Maintain documentation of all repairs, installations, and inspections.
Desired Skills and Experience
About You
- Minimum 2 years’ experience in a similar role in the Oil, Gas and Energy sector.
- Unrestricted Electrical Licence.
- Instrumentation qualifications (required cert 3 & 4 for E&I; Techs).
- Robust focus on electrical safety, isolations and permit to work systems.
- Must have current driver’s licence.
- Construction White Card.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
