Responsibilities
Selecting equipment and metal stock, planning layout, assembly and welding processes
Lays out, positions, aligns and fits components together
Cutting marked-out metal segments and shapes using tools, flame cutting torches and metal cutting machines
Shaping and bending metal sections and pipes using hand and machine tools, and by heating and hammering
Grind and polish internal welds
Sets up of equipment and weld parts for Aluminum and Stainless-Steel products in conformance to specifications.
Weld in flat, horizontal, vertical or overhead positions
Carry out repairs and maintenance on products when requested
Compliant with all Company OH&S policies
Maintain a clean work area at all times
Qualifications & Skills
Reliable, flexible, and have a great work ethic
Proven ability in their field
Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
Experienced in a fast-paced environment (manufacturing experience an advantage)
Relevant Certificate IV or at least 3 years relevant work experience
Competent in the use of power tools and machinery
Job Details
